Brand copy for Yalla Entertainment needs to convey expertise and professionalism for a B2B audience. But that doesn’t mean it needs to be dull.

Yalla Entertainment brand copy needs to bring the offering to life – corporate with a side of fun. Make sure you follow this simple four-point check when writing anything for the brand.

CAN YOU SEE IT?
Don’t write to describe. Write to show. Paint a picture with your words so they can imagine how Yalla Entertainment will make their lives easy and their customer’s lives fun. Ensuring our customers can imagine this is much more effective than just telling them that we’re effective, and expecting them to believe it.

CAN YOU FEEL IT?

Write feelings. Write emotions. Write experiences. Whilst Yalla Entertainment is a B2B brand, everyone buys with emotion so it’s important to make the brand human. Don’t write like a brand, write like a person. That’s what makes it truly relatable, and as a result – convincing. It’s the little details that win over hearts. A ‘customer’ is just another number – but everyone loves to be a ‘partner’.
 

CAN YOU BELIEVE IT

Tell, don’t sell. And definitely don’t oversell. Always write sincerely and genuinely. Avoid clichés and superlatives like ‘the best roller coaster. Make it real and relatable.
 

Here’s one last thing:  After all that, is it still human

We need to show that we are professionals, so accuracy is key. Make sure you go through a hygiene check – spellings, grammar and consistency.

British English. Always.
That’s Colour not color, analyse not analyze.

One to nine spelled out, 10 onwards in digits.


Dates
Month first, in letters. Date next, in numbers.

You can add the year right at the end, only if absolutely necessary – we’d like to think most people know what year we’re in. February 5, 2022
And if they don’t know what the day is, then maybe best start with it. Saturday, February 5, 2022.

Notice the commas? They’re really important! Please use them!


Time is not an illusion.
Let’s keep it simple. Number-No space-AM/PM (yes, in caps) 5AM, 4.20PM, 9PM, etc.
